Fore the Love Event Makes Major Contribution to Winter Haven Hospital Foundation

The Winter Haven Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a generous $60,000 contribution from the “Fore the Love” Golf & Tennis event. These proceeds will benefit Winter Haven Hospital and the Winter Haven Women’s Hospital patients. A significant amount of the funds will be utilized to help underwrite services to support the care of premature and sick babies cared for at the Winter Haven Women’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Chaired by John & Tracy Scheck and Mike & Janine Mahalak, the event was held at the Country Club of Winter Haven. The “Fore the Love” event included an 18-hole scramble golf tournament, doubles tennis tournament and a tailgate party. “We were happy to have the opportunity to participate in such a fun event for such a wonderful cause.  We had great participation and support from the community.  We’d like to give special thanks to all of our fantastic sponsors whose support made this the success that it was. We look forward to continuing to expand the event and continuing to partner with the Winter Haven Hospital Foundation which does so much good in our community” stated John & Tracy Scheck and Mike & Janine Mahalak.

The 2019 “Fore the Love” Golf & Tennis event will now be a three (3) day event scheduled for  October 18^th– 20^th. The 4^th annual event begins Friday evening with the “Fore the Love” Friday Night Bash held at Venue 650. On Saturday teams will gather at the Country Club of Winter Haven to compete in a four-man scramble. Concluding the 2019 “Fore the Love” Golf & Tennis event Sunday with Juniors Tennis at the Winter Haven City Courts.
