Winter Haven Hospital Foundation recognized by Polk State College

The Winter Haven Hospital Foundation was recently recognized by the Polk State College District Board of Trustees for its philanthropic leadership in advancing nursing education.

Over the past 10 years, the Foundation has conveyed over $869,000 in support for the Polk State College two and four year nursing programs.

These funds have made a critical difference in increasing the supply of nurses for Polk County.
