Lewis Family Cancer Fund “Swing for the Cure” Event Makes Major Contribution to Winter Haven Hospital Foundation
The Winter Haven Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a generous $85,000 contribution from the Lewis Family Cancer Fund “Swing for the Cure”. All proceeds from the “Swing for the Cure” event will be utilized locally to support the Winter Haven Hospital Cassidy Cancer Center. A special THANK YOU to all who sponsored, participated, and volunteered at the 10th anniversary event. We appreciate your continued generosity and support to our community and the patients we serve.

The Lewis Family Cancer Fund (LFCF) was established to help promote public awareness and assist in funding research development in the prevention and cure of cancer. Since its inception, the LFCF “Swing for the Cure” has generated over $245,000 in support of Winter Haven Hospital Cassidy Cancer Center patients. Funds raised through the LFCF “Swing for the Cure” have supported the Winter Haven Hospital Cassidy Cancer Center, Florida State University College of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Winter Haven Hospital, and the Winter Haven Women’s Hospital Breast & Imaging Center.
We hope you will consider joining us for the 11th anniversary of the LFCF “Swing for the Cure” events will be held on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th for fun, fellowship and celebration – all with the goal of raising funds to help find a cure.
